GET your Light ON at Night and OFF at Day Using LDR

Skill level- basic soldering skills(if soldering/use breadboard) and electronics knowledge

So this project is on switching a light ON and Off depending on the light intensity basically focuses on a LDR/photoresistor and if you don't know what a LDR is; it is a light-controlled variable resistor. The resistance of a photoresistor decreases with increasing incident light intensity. And we use this feature to make this project so when there's higher light the higher resistance.

Schematic

This schematic contains all the soldering that needs to be done a and where the parts connect to each other

So first as usual ill start by listing out the parts and get going with the project...

Parts needed

* 1 BC547 transistor

* 1 220k ohm resistor

* 1 330 ohm resistor

*

*1 LED (any colour )

* 1 9v battery

* 1 battery clip

* 1 LDR ( light dependent resistor )

*10-20 jumper cables (male to male)

*1 Breadboard

MATERIALS(if soldering)

* Connecting wires * soldering rod and wire * wire stripper * Cutter

* Soldering bored
